A degree in Tourism Studies or Hospitality Studies from the Dominica State College allows you to gain hands-on experience in one of the world’s fastest growing and 2nd largest industries. This degree allows you to combine theory with practice, gaining experiences at various host institutions such as hotels; Discover Dominica Authority; Dominica Festivals Committee; the Ministry of Tourism & Urban Renewal and the Dominica Cricket Association.
There is a strong emphasis placed on quality customer service that our graduates learn to provide in any area of the industry. Our students are usually asked to assist at various events such as the Annual World Creole Music Festival; Jazz ‘N Creole; Titiri Fest; Carnival; and Government planned functions to name a few. We look forward to guiding you through your tenure at the college and our offices are always opened to assist you in any way we can.
